Sunny skies prevailed across areas southeast of a line from Keokuk,
to Moline, to Freeport Saturday, while clouds blanketed areas to
the northwest. Southwest winds of about 10 to 15 miles an hour
helped temperatures climb well above normal. Afternoon highs
topped out in the 40s and 50s, ranging from 43 in Independence, up
to 56 in Macomb. Normal highs for this time of year are in the
upper 20s to mid 30s.

Generally cloudy skies and light winds will be on tap across the
area tonight, with foggy conditions possible overnight and early
Sunday morning. In addition, the Keokuk and Macomb areas may even
see a passing light rain shower towards daybreak. Temperatures
will bottom out in the 30s.

Expect mostly cloudy skies and brisk north northwest winds Sunday
afternoon, with temperatures in the upper 30s and 40s.
