A warm and humid air mass was in place across eastern Iowa,
northwest Illinois, and far northeast Missouri on Sunday.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed during the
afternoon and were nearly stationary producing localized heavy
rainfall and some flash flooding in northwest Illinois. Many
locations were dry through the day but some places saw 1 to 3
inches of rain. High temperatures ranged from 84 degrees at
Freeport to 91 degrees at Mount Pleasant.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will slowly dissipate tonight
with continued warm and humid conditions across the region. Patchy
fog is possible after midnight. Low temperatures on Monday
morning will range from 66 degrees at Freeport to 71 degrees at
Fort Madison.
