Light snow will continue spreading south tonight. Snowfall amounts
of 1-3 inches are expected for the central plains and southwest
valleys, with 3-6 inches in the mountains. Strong north winds will
create areas of blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibility.
Temperatures will drop steadily overnight, reaching the single
digits above and below zero early Tuesday. Ice and snow will
accumulate on roads after sunset. Snow will end from north to south
early Tuesday. High temperatures Tuesday will range from near 10 in
the north to near 20 in the southwest.
