A line of showers and storms developed and moved slowly northeast
across central and eastern Kansas this afternoon. Afternoon
temperatures were in the 60s and 70s with a cold front dropping
southward across central Kansas.

The line of showers and storms will continue to move eastward
across the central plains tonight, with some strong to severe
storms possible. Otherwise surface high pressure will build across
the Heartland with the storms pushing east of the area. Lows
tonight will range from the 30s in Nebraska to the low 50s in
central Oklahoma.

A pleasant weather day looks to be on tap for the Heartland on
Sunday as surface high pressure dominates over the region. Daytime
highs will be in the upper 60s and 70s for middle america.
