TODAY...HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 90S OVER SOUTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA...TO THE MID-80S OVER NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA.
WINDS WERE GENERALLY VARIABLE FROM 5 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR...WITH
THE STRONGEST WINDS OVER THE EASTERN SANDHILLS...WHERE GUSTS OF 20
TO 25 MILES PER HOUR WERE COMMON. SKIES OVER MUCH OF THE REGION WERE
PARTLY CLOUDY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY FOR MUCH OF THE MORNING
HOURS...BEFORE TURNING PARTLY SUNNY TO MOSTLY SUNNY DURING THE
AFTERNOON HOURS. LIGHT SHOWERS AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALSO
COMMON OVER NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA THIS MORNING.

TONIGHT...THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
OVER SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...AND THE EASTERN SANDHILLS. SOME OF THESE
STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE EARLY THIS EVENING. LOW
TEMPERATURES OVERNIGHT WILL FALL INTO THE UPPER 50S IN THE
PANHANDLE...TO MID-60S ELSEWHERE...WITH LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS.
