Mild temperatures are expected across the Mid-South today despite
widespread showers and thunderstorms. Rain will taper off this
evening, with only a few lingering showers anticipated for Friday
morning. There may even be a few breaks in the clouds during the
afternoon hours. Warmer temperatures are expected Friday, with
highs generally in the mid 60s to lower 70s.

Rain chances will return late Friday night into Saturday morning,
mainly south of I-40, spreading north across the remainder of the
Mid-South during the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms are
likely Saturday night and Sunday. Temperatures will remain on the
warm side through the weekend, at least by seasonal standards.
Expect highs primarily in the 60s and lows in the 50s.
