A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE MIDDLE ATLANTIC COAST WILL PASS SOUTH
AND EAST OF LONG ISLAND AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST
TODAY. EXPECT SHOWERS TO CONTINUE INTO THE MID MORNING HOURS ACROSS
EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT.

SHOWERS AND CLOUDS DECREASES LATE THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON. THE
COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO PASS THROUGH THE REGION THIS EVENING INTO
THE FIRST PART OF TONIGHT. A FEW SHOWERS CANNOT BE RULED OUT WITH
THIS PASSAGE...MAINLY NORTH AND WEST OF THE CITY. TEMPERATURES WILL
RUN SEVERAL DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL IN THE UPPER 70S AND LOWER 80S.

A MUCH COOLER AIR MASS BUILDS INTO THE TRI-STATE FOR MONDAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY BE IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S UNDER MOSTLY
SUNNY SKY CONDITIONS.
