A COASTAL STORM DEVELOPS ALONG THE SOUTHEAST COAST TONIGHT AND MOVES
UP THE COAST ON WEDNESDAY. CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO THICKEN AND LOWER
TONIGHT WITH TEMPERATURES FALLING INTO THE UPPER 30S BY DAYBREAK
WEDNESDAY.

THE PRECIPITATION BEGINS AS RAIN ACROSS COASTAL CONNECTICUT...LONG
ISLAND...AND THE NEW YORK CITY METRO. THE RAIN WILL MIX WITH SNOW BY
LATE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON. EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEAST
CONNECTICUT MAY STAY A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW THROUGHOUT THE DAY WHILE
THE CITY...WESTERN LONG ISLAND...AND SOUTHWEST CONNECTICUT SEE
MOSTLY SNOW IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE
PRIMARILY SNOW FOR THE NORTHERN SUBURBS FOR THE ENTIRE EVENT.

WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION ENDS FROM WEST TO EAST WEDNESDAY AROUND
MIDNIGHT. COLDER AIR WORKS ITS WAY INTO THE REGION FOR THURSDAY AS
HIGHS WILL ONLY REACH THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 30S WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY
CONDITIONS. A FEW SNOW FLURRIES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.
