...Scattered snow showers and isolated snow squalls for portions
of the Mohawk Valley and western Adirondacks this morning...

Lake effect snow showers and isolated snow squalls will impact the
western Adirondacks of northern Herkimer and Hamilton Counties, and
the western Mohawk Valley near the Interstate 90 corridor prior to
3 am. Snow rates may reach a half an inch to an inch an hour in
the heavier snow showers and isolated snow squalls. Total
accumulations will range from a half an inch to a few inches
across the region. Visibilities may lower to less than a half a
mile, and the roads may become snow covered quickly. Use caution
while driving through any heavy snow squalls.
