AND SOUTHERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY...

KENX WSR-88D RADAR INDICATED A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW...POSSIBLY MIXED
WITH SLEET...FROM AROUND PAWLING...NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH ABOUT
TORRINGTON AND NORTH TO ROOSTERVILLE.

SNOWFALL RATES OF 1-2 INCHES ARE LIKELY OCCURRING UNDERNEATH THIS
BAND. THE SNOWFALL COMBINED WITH GUSTY WINDS TO 25 MPH WILL
PRODUCE NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS...AND SOME DRIFTING OF THE SNOW.

SNOWFALL TOTALS WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO LOCALLY 6 INCHES ACROSS THIS
AREA MAKING TRAVEL VERY TREACHEROUS.

THE SNOW WILL LIFT OUT OF THE REGION AFTER 200 AM...BUT
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN BELOW FREEZING...SO UNTREATED ROADWAYS
WILL REMAIN SLIPPERY.
