...SLIPPERY STRETCHES POSSIBLE IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN EARLY THIS
MORNING...

At 530 AM, an area of light rain showers stretched from near
Danbury and Siren in Burnett County through Hayward and Mellen and
over northern Iron County and was moving east-northeast at 30
mph. An earlier area of light rain or snow showers moved through
much of northwest Wisconsin. Pavement temperatures are near to
below freezing and ice accretion on road surfaces is possible,
especially on secondary roads.

If you are traveling this morning, use extra caution and be
prepared for possible slippery stretches. Remember, it`s better to
be driving slow and wish you were going faster than be driving
fast and wish you were going slower.
