  *SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL DELAYS AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL POSSIBLE ACROSS
   TRANS-SIERRA HIGHWAYS.

  *SLICK ROADS FOR FRIDAY COMMUTES.

  *RAIN OR THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE DURING HALLOWEEN TRICK-OR-
   TREATING.

.CONFIDENCE...
  *HIGH CONFIDENCE FOR WET HALLOWEEN AND MOUNTAIN SNOWFALL.

  *MEDIUM CONFIDENCE IN SNOW LEVELS AND PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS.

.TIMING AND STRENGTH...
  *RAIN AND SNOW WILL BEGIN ACROSS MOST OF INTERIOR NORCAL FRIDAY
   WITH MOUNTAIN SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUING INTO SATURDAY.

  *SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW POSSIBLE OVER SIERRA PEAKS. SNOW LEVELS
   WILL LOWER TO AROUND 4000 FEET BY SATURDAY MORNING.

  *THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE VALLEY AND SIERRA
   FOOTHILLS LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

  *GUSTY WINDS ON FRIDAY WITH FRONT.

.WEATHER SUMMARY...
  *A FAIRLY STRONG FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL IMPACT INTERIOR NORTHERN
   CALIFORNIA FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. THE MAIN FRONTAL BAND WILL MOVE
   THROUGH FRIDAY WITH PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN AND
   MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW OVER THE SIERRA. SNOW
   ACCUMULATIONS OF SEVERAL INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH SNOW
   LEVELS LOWERING DOWN TO AROUND 4000 FEET BY SATURDAY MORNING.
   TRICK OR TREAT ACTIVITIES MAY BE WET THROUGHOUT THE REGION.
   THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON
   AND EVENING HOURS.
