The National Weather Service in The Twin Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Pope County in west central Minnesota...
  West central Stearns County in central Minnesota...

* Until 445 PM CDT

* At 417 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located 5 miles west of Brooten, or 22 miles north of
  Willmar, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Brooten around 425 PM CDT.
  Belgrade around 430 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Greenwald, Padua, Elrosa, Spring Hill and Meire Grove.

This includes U.S. Highway 71 between mile markers 150 and 163.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
