.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...Active trough over the islands
will continue to move west southwest slowly. RAOB from this
afternoon depicts an unstable profile with thunderstorms. ASCAT
swath from this morning showed strong and gusty northeast winds
embedded within the trough. A ridge behind or far east is also
extending west, bringing in stable weather on Saturday morning.

SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...The ridge will maintain stable weather
across the islands through the new week. The ridge will move
farther south on Thursday, hence winds will diminish to light and


Seas of 7 to 9 ft will rise 8 to 10 ft tonight through Friday
night. With the active trough moving west southwest, seas will
subside 6 to 8 ft on Saturday. Seas will subside below advisory
levels on Tuesday morning.


High surf advisory remains in effect until Monday night.
Small craft advisory remains in effect until Monday night.
Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until Friday night.
