CDT FOR NORTHERN BLANCO COUNTY...

AT 938 PM CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED A FOOT AND A HALF
OF WATER OVER THE ROAD AT FM ROAD 1323 AT THE SPRING CREEK CROSSING.
BASED ON RADAR ESTIMATIONS AND SURFACE REPORTS OF 3 TO 3 AND 1/2
INCHES...LOW WATER CROSSINGS NEAR HICKORY CREEK MAY ALSO BE FLOODED.

AS OF 945 PM CDT...RAINFALL HAS SINCE DECREASED OVER THE AREA...AND
THE EXTRA RUNOFF ALONG THE AREA CREEKS IN NORTHERN BLANCO COUNTY
SHOULD BEGIN TO DECREASE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

WHEN WATER COVERS THE ROAD...TURN AROUND DON`T DROWN. THE LIFE YOU
SAVE MAY BE YOUR OWN. IT IS HARD TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF
FLOODING AT NIGHT. IF FLOOD WATERS RISE ACT QUICKLY. DO NOT STAY IN
FLOOD PRONE AREAS.
