...The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in Oregon and Washington...

  Columbia R at Vancouver affecting Multnomah and Clark Counties

River forecasts are based on observed and forecast rainfall and
temperatures, and they include current and planned reservoir

Turn around, don`t drown. Don`t drive into flooded areas.
Avoid walking near riverbanks during high water.


835 AM PDT THU MAR 16 2017

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Columbia R at Vancouver
* until Friday evening.
* At 8 AM Thursday the stage was...15.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...This river is forecast to rise above flood stage around
  10 AM Thursday and is expected to crest at 16.1 ft around noon. The
  river level will fluctuate slightly due to tidal influence but
  remain between 15.8 and 16.1 feet through Friday. It will then fall
  very slowly through the weekend.
* Impact...Above 16 ft, expect flooding of some islands, along with
  parks and trails along the river. Boaters should be aware of faster
  currents and more debris than usual in the river.
