Plenty of sunshine was seen over the region at mid afternoon, though
isolated showers were developing into east central Minnesota.
Temperatures were mostly in the low and mid 70s.

A weather system moving across the northern plains will bring
showers and thunderstorms across Minnesota and Iowa tonight, with a
few possibly reaching the Mississippi river toward morning. The
showers and storms then overspread the entire area on Wednesday,
with a few storms possibly strong to severe. High temperatures will
be mainly in the 70s, though readings will vary from the upper 60s
across northern Wisconsin to the mid 80s into central Iowa.

The outlook Wednesday, a chance for thunderstorms will be seen south
of I90, with the best chances across the southern half of Iowa. High
temperatures will vary from the mid 70s to lower 80s.
