MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND COLD TEMPERATURES WERE IN PLACE ACROSS
CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS EARLY THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURES A COUPLE
HOURS PRIOR TO SUNRISE RANGED FROM AROUND 10 OVER NORTH CENTRAL
KANSAS...TO THE LOW 20S OVER THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SUNFLOWER
STATE. LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS ACCOMPANIED THESE BELOW NORMAL
READINGS.

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN PLANTED OVER THE REGION
FOR TODAY AND TONIGHT WHICH WILL PROVIDE PLENTY OF SUNSHINE AND NEAR
NORMAL TEMPERATURES. HIGHS TODAY ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE
UPPER 20S OVER NORTHERN NEBRASKA TO THE LOW 40S OVER SOUTHERN KANSAS
AND OKLAHOMA. LOOK FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS TO RANGE FROM THE SINGLE
DIGITS OVER WESTERN NEBRASKA TO THE 20S OVER EASTERN KANSAS AND
MISSOURI.
