High pressure off the southeast New England coast will moves well
offshore through tonight as a wave of low pressure moves off the
southeastern coast and begins to track to the north. The low will
track slowly along the coast through Thursday.

Clouds will be increasing from the south to the north through the
day, becoming cloudy this afternoon. Light rain may develop by
mid to late afternoon across New York City and the south shore of
western Long Island. Light rain will develop northward, becoming
likely, through tonight. Rain will then continue through
Wednesday.

Highs today will range in the 60s, and may be near 70 across
portions of the lower Hudson Valley. Tonight`s lows will range in
the mid and upper 40s. Tuesday will be rainy and cool with highs
in the lower to mid 50s.
