...Patchy Black Ice possible this morning...

Across portions of the Capital Region, western Mohawk Valley, mid
Hudson Valley, Taconics, and across southern Vermont, western
Massachusetts and northwest Connecticut, there are some
temperatures still hovering slightly above freezing. After
overnight precipitation, there could still be some areas of black
ice forming on untreated ground surfaces, even in areas which are
above the freezing mark.

Motorists and pedestrians in these areas should remain vigilant
to the potential of encountering possible black ice on untreated
surfaces this morning. Bridges and elevated road surfaces,
highway on and off ramps, less traveled secondary roads, and also
parking lots, sidewalks and driveways will be particularly
susceptible to possible black ice.
