...Slick Roadways and Snow Showers Through the Evening...

Northwest winds gusting over 20 mph will continue to cause areas
of drifting snow through the evening, northeast of a line from
Dubuque, to DeWitt and Sterling Illinois. Snow showers and patchy
blowing snow in open areas will also reduce visibilities for brief
periods. Additional accumulations will range from a dusting to
around a half inch tonight.

Motorists should be prepared for snow and ice covered roads through
the evening. Slow down and allow extra travel time. More
widespread light snow showers are expected to push south into the
area later tonight, impacting locations along and north of
Interstate 80.
