INCREASING TO 3 TO 5 FEET ON FRIDAY.

SURF ALONG WEST FACING SHORES WILL BE 1 TO 3 FEET THROUGH FRIDAY.

SURF ALONG EAST FACING SHORES WILL BE 3 TO 5 FEET THROUGH FRIDAY.

SURF ALONG NORTH FACING SHORES WILL BE FLAT TO 2 FEET THROUGH
FRIDAY.

OUTLOOK THROUGH WEDNESDAY AUGUST 6:
A PERSISTENT TRADE WIND PATTERN WILL KEEP SHORT PERIOD AND CHOPPY
SURF ALONG EAST FACING SHORES. A SOUTH SWELL WILL INCREASE FRIDAY
AND MAINTAIN SURF ABOVE THE SEASONAL AVERAGE THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
SURF HEIGHTS WILL REMAIN BELOW ADVISORY LEVELS.

SURF HEIGHTS ARE FORECAST HEIGHTS OF THE FACE OR FRONT OF WAVES. THE
SURF FORECAST IS BASED ON THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT...THE AVERAGE
HEIGHT OF THE ONE THIRD LARGEST WAVES...IN THE ZONE OF MAXIMUM
REFRACTION. SOME WAVES MAY BE MORE THAN TWICE AS HIGH AS THE
SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT. EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER RIP CURRENTS IN OR NEAR
ANY SURF ZONE.
