...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH FACING SHORES...

Surf along north facing shores will be 18 to 22 feet today, and
12 to 18 feet Monday.

Surf along west facing shores will be 6 to 10 feet today, and 4 to
8 feet Monday.

Surf along east facing shores will be 3 to 6 feet today, and 2 to 4
feet Monday, locally higher sets along shores exposed to north swell.

Surf along south facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet through Monday.

Outlook through Sunday November 26:
The north swell will likely peak late this afternoon or this evening,
followed by a gradual decline through Monday night. Surf will likely
fall below advisory criteria by Tuesday morning. Forerunners from
another large north swell with warning level surf will reach the
north facing shores as early as Wednesday. This swell will peak
Wednesday night and Thursday, followed by a gradual decline through
Friday night. A moderate size swell from the north will reach our
north facing shores late in the upcoming weekend. Strong trade winds
are forecast to fill in towards the end of the week. This will
translate to rough and choppy, short period surf along the east
facing shores. Small long period background south and southwest
swells will keep surf along the south facing shores from going flat
through the forecast period.

Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves.
The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the
average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of
the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as
the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or
near any surf zone.
