...A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN IN VALLEYS THIS MORNING...

AN AREA OF RAIN SHOWERS WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS THE REGION THIS
MORNING...WHILE VALLEY TEMPERATURES STRUGGLE TO WARM ABOVE
FREEZING. THIS WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF FREEZING RAIN CREATING
BLACK ICE ON ROADS AND WALKWAYS IN VALLEY LOCATIONS. THE FREEZING
RAIN WILL BE BRIEF...WITH TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO WARM ABOVE
FREEZING SHORTLY AFTER PRECIPITATION BEGINS. HOWEVER...ANYONE
TRAVELING THIS MORNING SHOULD USE EXTRA CAUTION...AND BE PREPARED FOR
ICE WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO NOTICE BEFORE IT IS ENCOUNTERED. ANY
FREEZING RAIN SHOULD END OR CHANGE TO PLAIN RAIN BETWEEN 10 AND
11 AM.
