At 411 AM CDT/311 AM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated scattered showers
and thunderstorms from near Victoria Springs State Recreation Area
to 9 miles northwest of Culbertson, moving east at 50 mph.

Most of the thunderstorm activity will remain south of Interstate
80. 1/4 inch of rainfall is possible from the thunderstorms with
lesser amounts from the showers.

This rain was associated with a reinforcing cold front moving
through Western and North Central Nebraska this morning. The rain
should end this morning with clearing skies and temperatures in the
70s this afternoon.

Locations impacted include...
North Platte, Broken Bow, Imperial, Curtis, Stapleton, Hayes Center,
Sutherland, Hershey, Arnold, Wauneta, Callaway, Sargent, Ansley,
Brady, Eustis, Wallace, Merna, Maxwell, Mason City and Oconto.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 74 and 120.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 250 and 305.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 25 and 53.
 Highway 92 between mile markers 218 and 308.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 1 and 16.
 Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 149 and 207.
