.NOW...

At 139 AM CST/1239 AM MST/, Doppler radar indicated the leading edge
of an area of snow along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of
Red Cloud Campground to 11 miles west of Verdigre, moving north at 15
mph.

Most of this snow was melting on contact with the road. Temperatures
are expected to continue falling and roadways will ice covered by
morning. Snowfall rates of up to 1/2 inch per hour are expected
through 2 am CST. The rain snow line...currently near Valentine...is
expected to shift south through Ainsworth and perhaps ONeill by
morning.

Locations impacted include...
O`neill, Valentine, Ainsworth, Gordon, Rushville, Bassett, Hay
Springs, Spencer, Springview, Atkinson, Stuart, Butte, Long Pine,
Lynch, Page, Cody, Merriman, Newport, Naper and Kilgore.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 167 and 225.
 Highway 20 between mile markers 74 and 318.
 Highway 250 between mile markers 19 and 48.
 Highway 281 between mile markers 177 and 223.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 182 and 230.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 88 and 141.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 1 and 135.
