A band of light to moderate rain showers stretches from southwest
Nebraska to north central Nebraska, this is roughly from Chappell
to Grant northeast to Atkinson to Bartlett. Elsewhere, isolated to
scattered rain showers are possible along and south of the
interstate 80 corridor. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible
there as well.

Rainfall amounts up to a quarter inch per hour are expected with
locally higher amounts possible.

A lull in precipitation is expected mid-late morning with a
second round of rain expected this afternoon into the evening
across southwest Nebraska into north central Nebraska.
