At 645 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the back edge of an area of
rain and snow from 7 miles southwest of Millboro to near Gothenburg,
moving southeast at 25 mph.

The rain and snow will move east across Custer County and North
Central Nebraska this evening. Periods of wet snow across the
Sandhills will reduce visibility to between 1 and 3 miles with a
light accumulation of slush on roadways. This winter weather is the
result of an unusually cold upper level disturbance moving through
Nebraska.

Locations impacted include...
O`neill, Broken Bow, Ainsworth, Burwell, Bassett, Spencer,
Springview, Taylor, Brewster, O`Neill, Atkinson, Arnold, Stuart,
Callaway, Sargent, Ansley, Ewing, Merna, Butte and Long Pine.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 73 and 225.
 Highway 20 between mile markers 226 and 328.
 Highway 281 between mile markers 132 and 223.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 230 and 307.
 Highway 92 between mile markers 246 and 308.
 Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 204 and 208.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 25 and 135.
