TO BIG SPRINGS...MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH. RADAR ALSO INDICATED
ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80...MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED INCLUDE...
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...THE SANDHILLS AND WESTERN NEBRASKA.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT TODAY FOR SNOW AND STRONG
WINDS FROM GARDEN COUNTY EAST THROUGH WHEELER COUNTY INCLUDING ALL
AREAS SOUTH.

THE RAIN WILL CHANGE TO WET SNOW WITH SNOWFALL RATES OF 1/2 TO 1
INCH PER HOUR THIS MORNING...MAINLY ACROSS THE SANDHILLS AND
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA. VISIBILITY WILL FALL TO 1/2 MILE AT TIMES.

THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE SHOULD REMAIN ISOLATED ACROSS CUSTER...LINCOLN
AND CUSTER COUNTIES. SMALL HAIL IS POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

NORTH WINDS WILL CONTINUE AT 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.
STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80
INCLUDING CUSTER COUNTY.

THIS WEATHER WAS PART OF A DEVELOPING CENTRAL ROCKIES STORM SYSTEM
WHICH WILL MOVE THROUGH THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS
TODAY PRODUCING RAIN...SNOW...THUNDERSTORMS...STRONG WINDS...HEAVY
SNOW AND SEVERE WEATHER.
