Earlier today...Temperatures rose into the upper 60s to mid 70s
across the forecast area. Warm temperatures and plenty of humidity
resulted in an unstable atmosphere causing showers and
thunderstorms to develop. The strongest storms are along and east
of a line from North Platte to O`Neill. Hail near an inch and
gusty winds have been reported.

Tonight...Showers and thunderstorms will continue through the
evening and into early Friday morning. Thunderstorms will
eventually move east of the forecast area by Friday morning,
however, rain will continue into Friday. Overnight lows drop into
the upper 30s and low 40s.
