With an area of high pressure moving across the Great Plains,
western Nebraska experienced mostly sunny skies today. Highs
ranged from near 80 in far northern Nebraska to the upper 80s
southwest as northwest winds gusted to 25 miles per hour at times.

Clear conditions are expected tonight with light and variable
winds. Lows will generally be in the lower to mid 50s across the
region. Sunshine sticks around Tuesday as the heat returns with
highs in the 90s for southwest Nebraska and upper 80s across the
Sandhills.
