THE SOUTHWEST...WHICH ALLOWED TEMPERATURES TO REMAIN RELATIVELY
MILD ACROSS MOST OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. LOW
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 20S TO LOW 30S OVER
NORTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...PLATTE RIVER VALLEY...EASTERN
SANDHILLS...AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...MID 30S IN SOUTHWESTERN
NEBRASKA...TO UPPER 30S TO LOW 40S OVER THE WESTERN AND CENTRAL
SANDHILLS. WINDS WERE INITIALLY LIGHT AND VARIABLE...BEFORE
BECOMING WESTERLY AT 5 TO 10 MILES PER HOUR.

TODAY...AN APPROACHING FRONT WILL BRING BREEZY CONDITIONS TO MUCH
OF THE REGION...WITH TEMPERATURES STILL WELL ABOVE AVERAGE. HIGH
TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE MID 50S TO MID 60S.
SKIES WILL PRIMARILY BY SUNNY TO MOSTLY SUNNY...WITH INCREASING
CLOUDS ACROSS NORTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...WHERE EVEN A FEW SPRINKLES
WILL BE POSSIBLE LATER IN THE DAY. WINDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE
OUT OF THE NORTHWEST AT 15 TO 30 MILES PER HOUR...WITH GUSTS AS
HIGH AS 40 MILES PER HOUR.
