CENTRAL NEBRASKA. THESE CLEARING SKIES...COMBINED WITH THE FRESH
SNOW COVER...ALLOWED TEMPERATURES TO FALL INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS
BELOW ZERO OVER NORTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...TEENS OVER THE
SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE...SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...SANDHILLS...AND
NORTHERN NEBRASKA...TO MID 20S OVER NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. WINDS
ALSO BEGAN TO DECREASE OVERNIGHT...AND TURNED TO THE WEST
NORTHWEST PRIOR TO SUNRISE.

TODAY...A BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS EVE DAY IS IN STORE FOR ALL OF
WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL
BE NEAR NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR...WITH HIGHS IN THE LOW
TO MID 30S. WINDS WILL BE LIGHT...AND FROM THE WEST...BEFORE TURNING TO THE
SOUTHWEST LATER DURING THE DAY. SKIES WILL GENERALLY BE SUNNY TO
MOSTLY SUNNY DURING THE DAY...WITH INCREASING CLOUDS THIS EVENING
AS THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM APPROACHES THE REGION.
