Today, sunny skies dominated the area with winds generally out of
the west northwest. This helped keep temperatures in check in the
mid to upper 70s.

Tonight, winds will shift to the south southwest helping bring in
warmer temperatures overnight. Lows will bottom out in the upper
40s for southwest Nebraska to the low 50s across North and Central
Nebraska. Breezy winds tomorrow coupled with above normal
temperatures will promote increased fire weather concerns for
southwest Nebraska as dry conditions continue until Friday. Highs
will range from the mid to upper 80s in the north to the mid 90s
across southwest Nebraska.
