With a high pressure system controlling the weather pattern over
the Great Plains, western Nebraska experienced another sunny and
mild day. Highs ranged from the mid 50s near the Pine Ridge to the
mid 60s in the southern panhandle. West winds gusted to near 30
miles per hour at times this afternoon.

Fair conditions will continue overnight as west winds lighten to
under ten miles per hour. Lows will generally be in the upper 20s
to lower 30s. More sunshine is in store for Thursday as highs
reach near record levels in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
