The low pressure system that brought overnight rain and storms
slowly moved into eastern Nebraska today. Thick cloud cover
remained across north central Nebraska, limiting temperatures to
the 40s and 50s. Sunshine returned across the panhandle and
southwest Nebraska, allowing highs to reach the 60s and 70s.
Northwest winds increased through the afternoon and evening,
gusting above 30 miles per hour.

Partly to mostly clear skies will continue across western Nebraska
tonight, while the clouds will stay put over north central. Lows
will range from near freezing in the panhandle to near 40 in
central Nebraska as northwest winds lighten to around 10 miles per
hour. Fair and mild conditions are in store for Thursday with
highs in the mid to upper 60s.
