Weather Summary for Western and North Central Nebraska

The rain showers moved moved out of western Nebraska last night,
making way for clear skies and light winds. Rainfall totals
ranged from a couple hundredths to one quarter inch. Patchy fog
developed in the river valleys this morning. Lows were seasonably
cool in the mid to upper 40s across the Sandhills.

Fair conditions will continue through the afternoon, but
thunderstorm chances increase this evening in the panhandle and
western Sandhills. A few storms may be strong or severe, capable
of hail and strong winds. Daytime highs will be right around 80
for much of the area. Storm chances move east overnight with lows
near 60.
