TODAY...MORNING CLOUDS...GAVE WAY TO SUNNY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES
FOR MUCH OF THE AFTERNOON HOURS...BEFORE CUMULUS CLOUDS BEGAN TO
DEVELOP AND MOVE BACK INTO THE REGION. HIGH TEMPERATURES ROSE INTO
THE MID 70S TO LOW 80S...WITH BRISK SOUTHERLY TO SOUTHEASTERLY
WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR.

TONIGHT...AN ACTIVE EVENING AND NIGHT IS POSSIBLE ACROSS MOST OF
WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. THUNDERSTORMS OVER
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO...THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...AND SOUTHWESTERN
SOUTH DAKOTA...ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE EAST INTO THE EASTERN
PANHANDLE AND SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA BY THE EARLY EVENING HOURS.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS...WILL THEN MOVE FURTHER EAST ACROSS THE
REMAINDER OF WESTERN NEBRASKA...THE SANDHILLS...AND NORTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA THROUGHOUT THE NIGHTTIME HOURS. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREATS WITH THESE
STORMS...HOWEVER...AN ISOLATED TORNADO CANNOT BE RULED OUT. LOW
TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE MID 50S TO LOW 60S.
