Last night, low temperatures generally dropped below zero for much
of the area, the exception was in portions of southwest Nebraska
where lows were in the single digits. Skies were mostly cloudy
through the night before clearing out towards morning. Winds were
out of the northwest around 10 to 20 mph.

For today, temperatures will be around 25 to 35 degrees below
normal with highs in lower teens for southwest Nebraska, while the
rest of the area will be in the single digits. Wind chills will be
between -5 to -15 degrees in southwest Nebraska, while north
central Nebraska will see wind chills between -20 to -29 degrees
in north central Nebraska.
