Fog and low clouds hung around for much of the day across much of
southwest and central Nebraska today with the help of humid
southeast winds. Meanwhile, sunshine and light west winds were
experienced in the panhandle and northwest Nebraska. Highs ranged
from near 40 in the Platte River Valley to the mid 50s at
Valentine.

Dense fog will affect much of southwest and central Nebraska again
tonight through Friday morning. Visibility will be as low as one-
quarter mile. Lows will generally be in the 20s in western
Nebraska and lower 30s central.
