SUNSHINE AND BREEZY SOUTH WINDS HELPED PUSH TEMPERATURES WELL INTO
THE 80S ACROSS MOST OF WESTERN NEBRASKA TODAY. CLOUD COVER INCREASED
LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT ALONG THE SOUTH
DAKOTA BORDER. THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED IN THE NORTHERN PANHANDLE
DURING THE EVENING AND PRODUCED LARGE HAIL IN PARTS OF SHERIDAN
AND CHERRY COUNTIES.

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT NORTHWEST
NEBRASKA LATE THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS
ARE POSSIBLE FARTHER SOUTH...WITH THE BEST CHANCES GENERALLY ALONG
AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80. LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 50S IN
NORTHWEST NEBRASKA TO THE MID 60S IN CENTRAL NEBRASKA ALONG WITH
EAST WINDS.
