An area of upper level low pressure, tracked from the southern
Rockies into the Texas panhandle and western Oklahoma over the
past 24 hours. This feature spread a large swath of rain to
southwestern and central Nebraska today. With abundant clouds and
showers in place, temperatures this afternoon struggled to get out
of the 40s to lower 50s. Some upper 50s were present over far
northern Nebraska where some clearing occurred this afternoon.

Skies will gradually clear overnight across western and north
central Nebraska as the upper level low tracks toward the Ozarks
of eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas. Overnight lows will bottom out
in the 20s. Saturday will be pleasant and dry with highs in the
upper 50s to near 60.
