Temperatures rose into the 70s today across much of western and
north central Nebraska. Winds were breezy at times out of the
northwest early but shifted to the northwest in the afternoon with
peak gusts around 15 to 20 mph in spots.

Clouds will increase during the night with a chance of showers and
thunderstorms, especially after midnight. Some storms may be
severe with strong wind gusts and hail around the size of a
quarter as the main threats. Rain showers will continue into the
morning hours on Wednesday.
