TODAY...UNDER SUNNY TO PARTLY SUNNY SKIES...TEMPERATURES ACROSS
WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA WARMED INTO THE UPPER 80S TO
LOW 100S. DEWPOINT TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S EAST
OF NEBRASKA HIGHWAY 61...MADE FOR A WARM AND SULTURY DAY. WINDS
WERE FROM THE SOUTH TO WEST THROUGHOUT THE DAY AT 5 TO 15 MILES
PER HOUR. LATE AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED ACROSS PORTIONS
OF SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA AND THE CENTRAL SANDHILLS...PRODUCING
TORRENTIAL RAINFALL...HAIL...AND EVEN A BRIEF TORNADO TOUCHDOWN
NEAR THEDFORD.

TONIGHT...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG AND
EAST OF AN IMPERIAL TO AINSWORTH LINE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.
SOME OF THE STORMS THIS EVENING COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE. LOW
TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE LOW 60S TO LOW 70S...WITH
SOUTHERLY WINDS OF 5 TO 10 MILES PER HOUR BECOMING LIGHT AND
VARIABLE NEAR SUNRISE.
