TEMPERATURES FELL INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO ALONG AND
MAINLY NORTH OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 20...SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE
ZERO ACROSS NORTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...SANDHILLS...REMAINDER OF NORTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA...AND PARTS OF SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...WITH THE
TEENS ABOVE ZERO SEEN ACROSS THE SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE AND
EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA. NORTHERLY WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MILES
PER HOUR...COMBINED WITH THESE COLD TEMPERATURES...CREATED WIND
CHILL VALUES AS LOW AS 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO TO 1 DEGREE BELOW
ZERO.

TODAY...AN AREA OF ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE LOCATED OVER THE CANADIAN
PROVIDENCE OF SASKATCHEWAN THIS MORNING...WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST OVER
THE WESTERN DAKOTAS DURING THE DAY TODAY. THIS REGION OF HIGH OF
PRESSURE...WILL BRING VERY CHILLY AND BELOW NORMAL HIGH
TEMPERATURES TO ALL OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA DURING
THE DAY TODAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL STRUGGLE TO REACH THE TEENS
TO LOW 20S ACROSS THE REGION. NORTHERLY WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MILES
