Weather Summary for Western and North Central Nebraska

Scattered showers and thunderstorms along a frontal boundary moved
across the area late last night and early this morning. A few
storms brought large hail to portions of western Nebraska before
weakening as they approached Highway 83. Behind the front,
blustery north winds brought cooler temperatures in with morning
lows in the low 40s across northwest Nebraska to mid 50s in
central Nebraska.

Today, skies will be slow to clear this afternoon with a north
northeast wind between 5 to 15 mph persisting through the day.
Highs will range from the upper 50s in northern Nebraska to near
70 in southwest Nebraska.
