AS A STORM SYSTEM DEVELOPS ALONG THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS...LIGHT SNOW
SHOWERS MOVED THROUGH PORTIONS OF THE SANDHILLS TODAY. SLIGHTLY
HEAVIER SNOW BEGAN MOVING INTO SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA NEAR IMPERIAL
EARLY THIS EVENING. REPORTS AS OF 8 PM CST WERE ALL UNDER ONE
INCH. HIGHS RANGED FROM NEAR FREEZING ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA
TO NEAR 40 FAR SOUTHWEST.

ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LIKELY ACROSS FAR SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA
TONIGHT...WITH 2 TO 4 INCHES NEAR IMPERIAL AND 1 TO 3 INCHES NORTH
TO OGALLALA AND EAST TO FRONTIER COUNTY. LIGHT SNOW AND FLURRIES
WILL CONTINUE FOR LOCATIONS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80...BUT
ACCUMULATION IS NOT EXPECTED. LOWS WILL BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS
NORTH OF HIGHWAY 2 AND THE LOWER TEENS SOUTH. WITH GUSTY NORTH
WINDS AT TIMES...WIND CHILLS WILL BE BELOW ZERO.
