Overnight, temperatures were in the mid to upper 50s across the
northern Sandhills. Across southwest and north central Nebraska
lows were in the 50s and 60s. Thunderstorms moved through parts of
north central Nebraska, bringing areas of heavy rain.

Today, highs will be in the upper 80s to even low 90s across
southwest Nebraska. Across north central Nebraska temperatures
will be around 5 degrees below normal with highs only reaching the
low 80s. Winds will be out of the southeast around 5 to 10 mph.
