WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE
911 AM CST SUN NOV 16 2014 /811 AM MST SUN NOV 16 2014/

AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVED ONTO THE GREAT PLAINS OVERNIGHT...THE SKY
CLEARED AND WINDS LIGHTENED. THAT COMBINATION ALONG WITH A FRESH
SNOW PACK ALLOWED TEMPERATURES TO FALL BELOW ZERO FOR MANY
LOCATIONS...AND AS MUCH AS 10 TO 15 BELOW NORTH OF HIGHWAY 20.

NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PICK BACK UP AGAIN TODAY...ADDING EVEN MORE
CHILL TO THE AIR. REMAINING SNOW WILL GET BLOWN AROUND AND WILL
LIKELY REDUCE VISIBILITIES DURING TRAVEL...ESPECIALLY ACROSS
NORTHERN NEBRASKA. ANOTHER ROUND OF FLURRIES OR LIGHT SNOW IS
POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT...BUT ACCUMULATION WILL BE
LIMITED TO AROUND ONE INCH ALONG THE PINE RIDGE. HIGHS TODAY WILL
RANGE FROM THE MID 20S ACROSS THE SANDHILLS TO NEAR 30 IN FAR
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA.
