MAJORITY OF THE REGION...UNDER SUNNY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. HIGH
TEMPERATURES ROSE INTO THE 90S TO LOW 100S...WITH MAXIMUM HEAT
INDICES TOPPING OUT AT 110 DEGREES IN A FEW LOCATIONS THIS
AFTERNOON. WINDS WERE SOUTHERLY...AT 15 TO 25 MILES PER HOUR
THROUGHOUT MUCH OF THE DAYLIGHT HOURS.

TONIGHT...UNDER CLEAR TO PARTLY CLEAR SKIES...TEMPERATURES WILL
FALL VERY LITTLE. LOW TEMPERATURES OF ONLY THE MID 60S OVER THE
EASTERN PANHANDLE...70S OVER THE SANDHILLS...AND MID 70S OVER
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...WILL PROVIDE LITTLE IN THE WAY OF RELIEF
TO TODAYS HIGH TEMPERATURES. WINDS WILL REMAIN OUT OF THE
SOUTH...AT 10 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR.
