Today, partly cloudy skies were seen throughout the day as a storm
system began to move into the area. Temperatures were in the lower
40s to mid 50s for northern Nebraska and in the mid to upper 50s
in southwest Nebraska. Light rain began to develop towards the
evening in north central Nebraska.

For tonight, a cold front moving through the area this evening
bringing rain showers and gusty winds to the area. Wind gusts
overnight could get up to as high as 35 mph with sustained winds
between 20 to 25 mph. Rain will become more widespread overnight,
with some areas switching over to snow, with only minor
accumulations. Low temperatures tonight will range from the mid
20s to lower 30s, however the gusty winds will bring wind chill
values into the teens and lower 20s.
