Today, a dry and breezy day was observed across all of Nebraska.
Southerly winds remained elevated with gusts up to 25 mph for
portions of north central Nebraska. Highs ranged from the mid 80s
across north central Nebraska to the low 90s across central and
southwest Nebraska.

Tonight, a potent cold front will sweep across Nebraska. This will
bring a sharp wind shift to the northwest where gusts could
perhaps reach 40 to 50 mph for a brief period. Winds will subside
by early Wednesday morning, allowing temperatures to fall into the
upper 30s for much of the Nebraska Panhandle to the upper 40s
across Central Nebraska. Dry weather is expected to continue until
