OVERNIGHT...LOW TEMPERATURES OVER THE REGION WERE MAINLY IN THE
LOW TO MID 60S. WINDS WERE PRIMARILY FROM THE SOUTHEAST...AND
WERE THE STRONGEST OVER THE CENTRAL SANDHILLS...WHERE WIND GUSTS
REACHED INTO THE LOW 30S. SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLEAR...WITH PATCHY
AREAS OF HIGH CIRRUS CLOUDS.

FOR TODAY...AN APPROACHING SYSTEM WITH PLENTY OF MOISTURE WILL
BRING THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR MOST OF WESTERN
NEBRASKA. WHILE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE AT THIS TIME...SOME
MAY CONTAIN LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN
THE LOW 80S OVER THE EASTERN SANDHILLS TO MID 90S IN THE PANHANDLE
AND INTO EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA.
