OVERNIGHT...CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE SETTLED INTO THE NORTHERN HIGH
PLAINS...AND HELPED TO SPREAD COOLER AIR SOUTH OVER PORTIONS OF
NORTHERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. IN ADDITION...AN UPPER LEVEL
SYSTEM EJECTING FROM THE FOUR CORNERS REGION...ADVANCED MID AND
HIGH CLOUDS OVER THE REGION. LOW TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE REGION
RANGED FROM THE LOW TO MID 30S OVER NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
ALONG THE SOUTH DAKOTAN BORDER...WITH THE LOW TO MID 40S
ELSEWHERE. WINDS WERE FROM THE EAST AT 5 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR.

TODAY...WIDESPREAD RAIN AND RAIN SHOWERS ARE LIKELY ACROSS MOST OF
WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AS THE UPPER LEVEL LOW
APPROACHES THE REGION. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF A HALF OF AN INCH TO
ONE INCH ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REGION TODAY...WITH THE EXCEPTION
OF NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA WHERE TOTALS WILL BE LESS THAN A QUARTER
OF AN INCH DURING THE DAYTIME HOURS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE
WELL BELOW NORMAL...AS MOST LOCATIONS WILL STRUGGLE INTO THE LOW
TO MID 40S. WINDS WILL BE FROM THE EAST AT 5 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR.
