A few showers and thunderstorms moved through southwest Nebraska
yesterday evening as a cool front approached the area. Additional
showers developed across the northern Sandhills this morning.
Morning lows were very mild in the 40s and even a few 50s toward
central Nebraska. Northwest winds picked up behind the front.

Clouds will slowly clear today as the cold front continues pushing
east. Highs will still be well above normal, generally in the
lower to mid 60s. Wind gusts may exceed 30 miles per hour early
this afternoon. Lows tonight will range from near 30 in the Platte
River Valley to near 40 in north central Nebraska.
