Weather Summary for Western and North Central Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
935 AM CST Fri Nov 17 2017 /835 AM MST Fri Nov 17 2017/

This morning, high level clouds along with a light breeze
prevented temperatures from falling too far. Lows generally ranged
from the low 30s to low 40s across the region, which is 10 to 20
degrees above the normal lows for this day.

For today, partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies are expected across
the region as the next weather producer moves into the region.
Highs will range from the 50s in the northwest to low 60s in the
south. A cool front will be the focal point for light rain
showers this afternoon and evening, especially across northwest
Nebraska. An overnight transition to light snow will be possible
behind this front but accumulations are expected to remain minor
if any are seen. Winds will also increase out of the northwest and
combined with chilly temps will allow wind chill values to reach
the teens through Saturday morning.
