OVERNIGHT AND EARLY THIS MORNING...LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS AND EVEN A
FEW SNOWFLAKES FELL ACROSS PARTS OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA. SOME LOCATIONS UNDER THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS SAW A COUPLE
HUNDREDTHS OF PRECIPITATION FROM THESE SHOWERS...WITH MOST
LOCALITIES ONLY WITNESSING A TRACE. LOW TEMPERATURES FELL INTO THE
MID 20S IN THE PLATTE RIVER VALLEY AND EASTERN SANDHILLS...TO THE
LOW TO MID 30S ELSEWHERE. SOME AREA SIDEWALKS AND ELEVATED ROAD

SIDEWALKS AND BRIDGE SURFACES.

TODAY...LOW PRESSURE OVER WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST
DURING THE DAY TODAY ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...AND DRAG A
COLD FRONT ACROSS ALL OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. THIS
AREA OF LOW PRESSURE AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE
FOR RAIN SHOWERS ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA AND THE
SOUTHERN SANDHILLS...WITH A CHANCE FOR A RAIN/SNOW MIX ACROSS THE
REST OF THE REGION. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL BE REACHED AROUND
THE NOON HOUR...WITH FALLING TEMPERATURES EXPECTED FOR THE REST OF
THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS AS THE COLD FRONT SWINGS THROUGH
THE REGION. BREEZY NORTHERLY WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY THE COLD FRONT
TODAY...WITH SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 25 MILES PER HOUR AND GUSTS
AS HIGH AS 35 MILES PER HOUR EXPECTED.
