ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS GAVE WAY TO CLEARING SKIES OVERNIGHT...WITH
HARDLY A CLOUD IN THE SKY BY DAWN. TEMPERATURES LOWERED INTO THE
UPPER 50S ACROSS MUCH OF THE SANDHILLS REGION...HOWEVER A FEW 60S
AND LOWER 70S WERE REPORTED ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA EARLY
THIS MORNING. OVERNIGHT LOWS RANGED FROM A FROM A COOL 53 DEGREES
AT ARTHUR...TO A MILD 71 NEAR ERICSON.

FOR TODAY...CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE...WITH THE POSSIBILITY
OF ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ONCE AGAIN. TEMPERATURES
ARE FORECAST TO BE HOT...WITH HIGHS IN THE LOWER TO MID 90S FOR
MOST LOCATIONS. BECAUSE THE HUMIDITY WILL BE HIGH...HEAT INDEX
READINGS WILL APPROACH THE MID TO UPPER 90S DURING PEAK HEATING.
