COLDER AIR PUSHED INTO NORTHERN NEBRASKA TODAY AS A BACKDOOR COLD
FRONT SLIPPED SOUTH. IN THE AFTERNOON...TEMPERATURES PEAKED IN THE
60S IN THE SOUTHWEST...WHILE COOLER READINGS IN THE 40S OCCURRED
IN THE NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST. A FEW RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS
MOVED THROUGH TO PROVIDE JUST TRACE AMOUNTS OF PRECIPITATION IN
SOME LOCALES. TONIGHT THE CHANCE FOR A MIX OF RAIN OR SNOW
LINGERS. THEN TEMPERATURES DROPPING OVERNIGHT WITH LOWS RANGING
FROM THE MIDDLE 20S NORTH CENTRAL TO MIDDLE 30S IN THE EASTERN
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE BY DAYBREAK FRIDAY.
