OVERNIGHT...A COLD FRONT WAS CROSSING THROUGH THE
REGION...BRINGING WITH IT GUSTY NORTHERLY TO NORTHEASTERLY WINDS.
SOME OF THE HIGHEST WIND GUSTS WERE OBSERVED DURING THE NIGHTTIME
HOURS OVER THE SANDHILLS...WHERE GUSTS OF 25 MILES PER HOUR WERE
COMMON. TEMPERATURES OVERNIGHT RANGED FROM THE LOW 30S OVER THE
PINE RIDGE...TO AROUND 50 ACROSS THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR AND
SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA.

TODAY...THE AFOREMENTIONED COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH
THROUGH AND AWAY FROM WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA THIS
MORNING. SKIES WILL BE PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY DURING THE MORNING
HOURS...BUT SHOULD BEGIN TO CLEAR AND BECOME SUNNY TO MOSTLY SUNNY AS
THE NOON HOUR APPROACHES AS HIGH PRESSURE BEGINS TO SETTLE IN. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE 60S ACROSS THE REGION. WINDS
WILL REMAIN SOMEWHAT BRISK DURING THE MORNING HOURS...BUT WILL
BEGIN TO SUBSIDE AS THE DAY PROGRESSES.
