A few showers moved through western Nebraska early this morning
but were quickly replaced by fair conditions. Early afternoon
sunshine helped push temperatures well into the 70s for most of
the region. Showers and thunderstorms began developing around
suppertime and increased in coverage through early evening.

Thunderstorms will continue to overspread the Sandhills and
southwest Nebraska tonight. Some storms will be capable of large
hail and damaging winds. Lows will range from the upper 40s in
northwest Nebraska to the upper 50s in north central Nebraska.
More storms are likely for Friday with highs near 70.
