OVERNIGHT...A STRONG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MOVED OUT OF THE ROCKIES
AND INTO THE HIGH PLAINS...PUSHING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH
LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL NORTH AND EASTWARD THROUGH THE SANDHILLS
REGION OF NEBRASKA. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL AMOUNTS WERE ACROSS THE
PANHANDLE WHERE RADAR ESTIMATED MORE THAN AN INCH OF RAIN FELL.

TODAY...STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY THIS MORNING AND
AFTERNOON...MAINLY ACROSS PARTS OF NORTHERN NEBRASKA WHERE
WESTERLY WINDS GUSTING TO 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG WITH
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. ELSEWHERE SKIES WILL BE PARTLY
CLOUDY WITH BREEZY WEST SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE
MID 60S TO MID 70S.
