WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW BEING
SEEN OVER THE PINE RIDGE. STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 35 MILES
PER HOUR...WITH GUST NEAR 45 MILES PER HOUR WERE ALSO OBSERVED
ACROSS THE REGION...CREATING BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. LOW
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW 20S OVER NORTHWESTERN
NEBRASKA...MID 20S OVER THE EASTERN PANHANDLE AND SANDHILLS...AND
UPPER 20S TO NEAR 30 ELSEWHERE.

TODAY...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS. THIS
SNOW...COMBINED WITH STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MILES PER
HOUR...AND GUSTS APPROACHING 50 MILES PER HOUR...WILL LEAD TO THE
BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW...AND REDUCED
VISIBILITIES...ESPECIALLY ACROSS NORTHERN NEBRASKA. ROADWAYS AND
BRIDGES WILL BE SLICK...CREATING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL ACROSS THE
REGION. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S TO NEAR 30
TODAY.
