Weather Summary for Western and North Central Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
736 PM CDT Mon Mar 20 2017 /636 PM MDT Mon Mar 20 2017/

Clouds were on the increase today behind a cold front that passed
through overnight. Winds were northeast to east and breezy...this
made the temperatures feel cooler. Actual highs ranged from the
upper 50s across north central Nebraska, to the low 70s over far
southwest Nebraska.

Clouds will continue to stream in from the west and may bring a
shot of precipitation to the area overnight. Northern Nebraska
stands the best chance of seeing measurable precipitation, some
of which may transition over to snow. Snow accumulations along the
South Dakota border and northern Nebraska may reach an inch in
some places. Elsewhere a mix of rain and snow...or all rain is
possible, but accumulations will be light overnight.
