...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of northeast Montana, including the following areas,
  Central and Southern Valley, Dawson, Richland, and Sheridan.

* Through Wednesday afternoon

* Ice is breaking up and flowing along many of the rivers and
  streams across the region. This includes the Yellowstone River
  in the Glendive area. A new ice jam could form and bring
  quickly rising water levels.

* An ice jam on the Milk River in the Glasgow area continues to
  contribute to high river levels. Levels continue to slowly rise
  but are not expected to reach Flood Stage yet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
