...The Flood Warning has ended for the following rivers in

  Snoqualmie River near the Falls affecting King County.

                Central West Region

During the lull in rain today the Snoqualmie River at Snoqualmie
fell  below flood stage. The next batch of rain has not yet started
up that will eventually send the river up higher again. So for now
the flood warning is cancelled.

  The Snoqualmie River near the Falls
* At  4:45 PM Wednesday the flow was 15960 cfs.
* Flood flow is 20000 cfs.
* Forecast...The river fell below flood stage 12:04 PM Wednesday and
  will continue to fall tonight. The river will rebound early
  Thursday morning and crest above flood stage near 25900 cfs.
* Impact...At 20000 cfs, the Snoqualmie River will cause widespread
  flooding of pasture lands and roads along the river from the town
  of Snoqualmie downstream through Fall City. Roads that may become
  flooded include Fall City-Carnation...Tolt Hill...and Novelty Flats
  Roads. This river level on the Snoqualmie corresponds roughly to a
  phase 3 flood in the King County flood system.

Do not drive cars...vans...or trucks through flooded areas...this is
the cause of most flood related deaths in Washington. Be alert for
rapid changes and monitor developments by listening to NOAA Weather
radio or other local media.
