Isolated showers and thunderstorms are beginning to form along
the sea breeze this afternoon.Some of these thunderstorms could
become strong to severe capable of producing gusty winds, frequent
lightning and heavy rainfall.

Heat index values are into the 100s today across metropolitan
South Florida. Please take a few precautions to prevent heat
illness including drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated,
wearing light loose-fitting clothing, and reapplying sunscreen.
