Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to
move gradually inland across South Florida this afternoon. The
heavier activity will produce frequent cloud-to-ground lightning,
torrential downpours, and wind gusts to 30 mph. Most showers and
thunderstorms will continue to remain inland of the metropolitan
areas of the region into the evening.
