As of 3 PM EST, the back edge of an area of showers was lifting
northeast through Monroe County Pennsylvania. Once the back edge
moves through, there will be a lull in the rain. However, drizzle
and fog will be possible in between the showers, especially in the
higher terrain. At locations generally above 1000 ft, temperatures
are holding just below freezing. This includes Mount Pocono in
Pennsylvania and High Point in New Jersey. In these places, light
ice accumulations will be possible due to freezing rain, freezing
drizzle and freezing fog. Even light ice accumulations can cause
hazardous conditions especially on untreated roads and sidewalks.
Use caution if driving or walking in these areas this afternoon.
