A FRONTAL BOUNDARY EXTENDS FROM THE CANADIAN ROCKIES...SOUTHEASTWARD
INTO THE SOUTHERN CANADIAN PRAIRIES.

REST OF TODAY...CONTINUED PARTLY CLOUDY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW
FLURRIES IN THE SOUTHERN PROVINCES...THROUGH PARTS OF THE EASTERN
DAKOTAS AND MINNESOTA. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE TEENS NORTH NEAR
THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER...TO THE MID 20S IN SOUTHEASTERN MINNESOTA.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE FROM NORTH TO SOUTH ACROSS THE REGION
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...BRINGING SOME LIGHT SNOW TO PORTIONS OF
THE NORTHERN PLAINS. LOOK FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS TO FALL INTO THE TEENS
BELOW ZERO NEAR THE CANADIAN BORDER BEHIND THE FRONT...TO THE MID
TEENS ABOVE ZERO IN SOUTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA AHEAD OF THE FRONT.

A STRONGER COLD AIR SURGE IS EXPECTED EARLY NEXT WEEK...AND WILL
RESULT IN VERY COLD TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS STATES.
DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS WILL BE POSSIBLE TO START NEXT WEEK.
